Data Retention Policy
We retain bank statement files only as long as necessary to complete conversion. Uploaded PDFs, processed data, and temporary exports are not kept longer than required for your workflow.
Uploaded Files Are Temporary
When you upload a bank statement PDF, the file is stored temporarily in our processing environment. It exists solely to enable extraction and export generation.
We do not treat uploaded statements as a permanent document archive. Once processing completes and cleanup runs, the uploaded source file is removed from our systems.
Processed Files Are Temporary
Intermediate processing artifacts — including parsed transaction data and temporary export files — are also short-lived. They are created to deliver your Excel, CSV, QBO, or JSON output.
These processed files are not retained for analytics, model training, or long-term storage after your conversion session ends.
You Control Downloaded Exports
Any Excel, CSV, or other file you download is saved to your device or cloud storage under your control. We recommend storing exports according to your firm's data governance and client confidentiality policies.
Once downloaded, export files are your responsibility to manage, share, and delete according to your internal retention requirements.
Files Are Not Retained Longer Than Necessary
Our retention approach follows data minimization: we keep files only for the period required to complete the conversion you requested. We do not maintain long-term copies of your bank statement contents on our servers.

Automatic Cleanup Process
Automatic cleanup removes uploaded statements and temporary processing files after conversion completes. This reduces the window during which sensitive financial data exists on our infrastructure.
